If you are passionate about sustaining a thriving Wild and Wonderful West Virginia for generations to come, we need YOUR vision, perspective, and expertise to be a part of the conversation and action.
Join Generation Charleston at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 28 at the Charleston Area Alliance for an input session to identify potential community solutions to brain drain.
Lead the Change is a campaign through Generation West Virginia to get members of each regional chapter to give its members the ability to talk about the issues their area faces in retaining young talent. They then give them the opportunity to discuss taking these ideas and putting them into action.
We ALL have a stake in choosing policies and initiatives to help keep the next generation here. We see this as an opportunity to unite our siloed efforts to make meaningful progress on an issue that impacts so many diverse fields and whose solution is in collaborating across disciplines.
The Generation West Virginia Lead the Change Campaign is a statewide initiative to empower our state's young professionals and leaders to identify and lead the changes needed to make West Virginia a destination for the next generation to live, work, and play. Generation Charleston is one of 13 Generation chapters around the state who are leading community action planning sessions convening people of all generations, backgrounds, and professions to move from talking about the need to attract, retain, and advance the next generation of leaders and professionals to taking action.
