Inclusion=Innovation - Brand Conversa...
Description
Social media and changing demographics have upended traditional one-way communication for business. Engaging with today’s customers and employees today demands authenticity and transparency. And nowhere are the stakes higher than in relationships with young professionals and those from diverse backgrounds.
“We are not seats or eyeballs or end users or customers. We are human beings – and our reach exceeds your grasp. Deal with it,” says “The Cluetrain Manifesto: The End of Business as Usual.”
“Brand Conversations,” to be presented by the Charleston Area Alliance and Ernst & Young, will showcase ways local businesses are communicating their core values and ensure they not only talk the talk, but walk the walk with clients and employees.
The program, part of the Alliance’s “inclusion=innovation” series, will be held at noon, Wednesday, Oct. 3, at the Sugar Maple Café located at Cabela’s.
Speakers include:
• Crystal Good, Director of Brand Experience, Mythology Marketing
• Skip Lineberg, Chief Innovation Officer, Spilman, Thomas & Battle
• Dr. Donna Panucci, Pannuci & Jaffert DDS
• Susan Wheeler, Ernst & Young
The goal mission of the Alliance “inclusion=innovation” initiative, presented by title sponsor Ernst & Young, is to promote innovation and collaboration by helping businesses and our region benefit from the diverse contributions of all segments of our community.
