Tickets to the Harvest Hoe-Down start at $10. Registration on-line is recommended, and cash or check for your dinner will be taken at the door.

Join enthusiasts of the local food economy for a celebratory gathering of local food, local music and local growth. SAGE agripreneurs, members of the Kanawha Valley CSA and members of the Kanawha Urban Agriculture Alliance are hosting the event and will be on hand to discuss opportunities in local food.
The Harvest Hoe-Down will take place Thursday, October 17th on-site at the West Side Farmers’ Market located at the intersection of Washington Street West and Beatrice Street. The Hoe-Down will begin at 6pm.
SAGE agripreneur, April Hamilton of April’s Kitchen, will be catering the event using produce from the SAGE MicroFarm and Kanawha Valley CSA’s Hudson Farm location. Dinner will be served at 6:30pm. Traditional bluegrass music will be provided by Maureen Cremeans and friends.
