This special organization meeting will be hosted in the Taylor Books Art Annex, and will decide what books the Club will read.
Suggestions include:
The Selfish Gene by Richard Dawkins:
Ever wondered where the term “meme” came from? This is one of the most important popular science books of the 20th century.
Stranger in a Strange Land by Robert Heinlein:
Named by the Library of Congress as one of the “Books that Shaped America,” this is a science-fiction masterpiece.
Darkness at Noon by Arthur Koestler:
Considered one of the best novels of the 20th century, this is a chilling look at life in Stalinist Russia.
