About Us

Watkins Design Works is a commercial interior design and green building consulting firm. We offer all facets of interior design services for corporate, government, healthcare, hospitality, higher education, and architectural clients.

Jill Watkins, Owner, has 30 years of experience designing a wide variety of commercial interiors and working with architects, engineers, contractors, and other consultants. Her project experience ranges from 123,000 square feet of corporate headquarters to 1,000 square foot tenant renovations…from an $85 million dollar project for a National Guard base to kitchen and bath renovations at a low-income multi-family housing facility.

We bring extensive knowledge of the USGBC’s LEED Green Building Rating System for clients interested in pursuing certification. We excel at combining each client’s mission and objectives with desired sustainability outcomes to achieve true alignment of values with brand. Understanding key drivers of sustainability, whether they be habitat restoration, good indoor air quality, or energy cost savings, is important to meeting project goals. The integrative design process provides the foundation for this understanding, and we incorporate many different tools based on the project scope.
