About Us
Libera exists to build brighter futures for youth and young women in West Virginia through the transformative power of listening, connection, and hope. We do this through our peer support groups, mentorship/success planning, and social enterprise/STEAM education program.
We work across systems to reach the most at-risk youth. We have worked extensively in low-income schools, alternative schools, reporting centers, juvenile detention centers, and residential programs.
We cannot accomplish what we do without our volunteer mentors. Our mentors are compassionate and empathetic women from our communities who have been thoroughly trained to facilitate groups and mentor young women. If you are interested in joining our community visit our website to apply!
