About Us

Faith in Action of the Greater Kanawha Valley is a volunteer organization providing free services to older adults in Kanawha and Putnam counties. Our volunteers assist seniors with transportation to medical appointments, trips to the grocery store, friendly check-in phone calls, and minor home repairs and maintenance projects. We have a vibrant force of over 235 trained and vetted volunteers and have served more than 500 of our older neighbors. Our volunteers appreciate the flexibility they have in scheduling and the variety of meaningful ways to engage. Our seniors appreciate the reliable and friendly personal attention they receive.
