About Us
West Virginia Association of Rehabilitation Facilities (WVARF) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating employment, training, and economic opportunities for individuals with disabilities across the state of West Virginia. Established to administer the State Use Program, WVARF connects state agencies and political subdivisions with quality goods and services produced by community rehabilitation programs. By doing so, WVARF ensures that meaningful work is available to people with disabilities while meeting the operational needs of government entities cost-effectively.
WVARF supports its member agencies by coordinating contracts, providing business development assistance, and promoting fair wages and safe working conditions. Through this collaborative model, WVARF helps people with disabilities develop job skills, gain independence, and participate more fully in their communities. Products and services offered through the program include custodial work, grounds maintenance, printing, fulfillment, manufacturing, and more—delivered with a strong emphasis on reliability and quality.
At its core, WVARF strives to break down barriers to employment by fostering inclusion, dignity, and self-sufficiency. Every purchase made through the program directly contributes to creating sustainable jobs and empowering individuals with disabilities, reinforcing WVARF’s mission of advancing opportunity, equality, and community growth in West Virginia.
