About Us
Established in 1979, The Health Plan is a West Virginia-based nonprofit HMO offering innovative healthcare benefits. While we have members in all 50 states, we are most proud of our presence in all 55 West Virginia counties and of our involvement in local West Virginia communities. The Health Plan has over 500 employees in our offices in Wheeling and Charleston, WV and Massillon, OH, ensuring a customer-focused experience that strives to manage and improve the health and well-being of our members.
