What You’ll Do:
As the Staff Accountant, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the financial health and integrity of our office. You’ll work closely with leadership and team members to support day-to-day accounting operations, contribute to strategic financial planning, and help build a strong foundation for future growth.
Your responsibilities will include:
Accounting Operations:
- Maintain accurate accounting records and general ledger entries
- Process payroll and manage vendor relationships
- Administer staff benefit programs (medical, retirement, etc.)
- Process financial representative commissions, fees, and allowances
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and safeguard financial assets
- Manage office banking and quarterly IRS submissions
- Collaborate with external accountants on annual tax filings
- Educate new representatives on compensation structure
Financial Strategy & Office Support:
- Prepare office budgets and forecasts alongside leadership
- Analyze financial statements and recommend corrective actions
- Monitor representative indebtedness and manage collection processes
- Maximize reimbursement opportunities and ensure healthy cash flow
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to ethical financial stewardship
