Wyndham Garden Cross Lanes Charleston will mark the opening of the first Wyndham Garden Hotel in West Virginia and its Garden Grille restaurant, with a ribbon cutting at 3 p.m. Tuesday, June 20 at 102 Racer Dr. in Cross Lanes.
The 136-room hotel recently completed a brand conversion to Wyndham Garden which included a complete renovation of the hotel. The hotel design incorporates natural materials, pops of green, and has an abundance of natural light to make guests feel calm and increase comfort and productivity.
“We’d like to thank Wyndham Garden Cross Lanes/Charleston for its major investment in the Kanawha Valley and congratulate the hotel on its recent transformation,” said Matt Ballard, CEO of the Charleston Area Alliance.
The Wyndham Garden features an open lobby with natural light and garden-inspired artwork; a lounge with a fireplace, comfortable furniture and integrated technology; a full-service breakfast bar that functions as a work area during the day; and the new culinary experience – The Garden Grille – that fits with guests’ lifestyles and busy schedules. All new contemporary guest rooms offer bright, natural colors.

Located off the Cross Lanes/Goff Mountain Road Exit 47 off Interstate 64, the Wyndham Garden is located near the Mardi Gras Casino and has easy access to downtown Charleston, Yeager Airport and many popular area attractions.
