Description

State of the Valley, presented by Meeks Rentals & Leasing, enters its second year as an exciting event, collaboratively hosted by the Charleston Regional, Huntington Regional, and Putnam County Chambers of Commerce. 

The event will highlight the impact of tourism on economic development, featuring Secretary of Tourism, Chelsea Ruby and representatives from the region's tourism sector. They will provide updates on their communities, outline priorities for the upcoming year, and explore opportunities for collaboration.

Presenters Include:
Chelsea Ruby, Secretary of the West Virginia Department of Tourism  
Tim Brady, Charleston Convention & Visitors Bureau
Tyson Compton, Huntington Area Convention & Visitors Bureau
Kelli Steele, Putnam County Convention & Visitors Bureau
The event moderator will be Chef Paul Smith, West Virginia’s first winner of the prestigious James Beard Award for Best Chef in the Southeast.
