Creating a diverse and inclusive workplace can be hard to develop, which is probably why they are so hard to find. Now and always, employers and employees need to care about making their workplaces truly inclusive. But to do so, you have to be able to effect real change by understanding and practicing allyship.
Join the Charleston Area Alliance as we continue our conversations with YWCA Charleston around implicit bias and dive deeper into allyship in the workplace on Friday, June 26, at 11:30 a.m. The program includes a panel discussion followed by a moderated Q&A session.
Panelists:
Kenyatta Grant, WV Coalition Against Domestic Violence
Bob Pepper, Volunteer
Kitty Dooley, Owner, Dooley Law Firm
Eva Jones, HR Director for YWCA Charleston
Q&A will be moderated by YWCA Racial Justice Program Director, Deedra Keys-Switzer.
This virtual event is free of charge, but RSVP is required, as spots are limited to the first 75 registrants.
