Event Description:

We are partnering together as One Silo to bring public and private sector employers, trades and contractors and nonprofits to enhance workforce economic development and career exploration opportunities for Kanawha County Students.

 

Kanawha County Schools and the Charleston Area Alliance invite you to attend Career Readiness West Virginia's Key Stakeholder Forum, a meet and greet event with input from key stakeholders. After the event, the Forge Business Solution team conducts research on the local, state and national economies and workforce development and comments collected from the stakeholder forum to develop a report with recommendations for Kanawha County Schools, the Charleston Area Alliance and local chambers of commerce to launch the Career Readiness West Virginia initiative to provide internships, externships, and apprenticeships opportunities for students.
