Make your Storefront Shine this Holiday Season!
Let's fill the streets with holiday cheer! Decorate your business windows and facades with your best holiday look. Twinkling lights? Glistening snowflakes? Candy canes and gum drops? Choose any theme you wish! This year's contest is the perfect opportunity to highlight your business and provide beautiful holiday scenery to Charleston.
Businesses will compete within their districts for the People's Choice Award. A panel of judges will select a city-wide Best in Show.
Contest Schedule:
- September 29 - Registration Opens
- November 22 - Registration Deadline
- November 24 - Window Displays must be complete by end of day
- November 25 - People's Choice Voting Begins
- December 13 - People's Choice Voting Ends
- December 15 - All Winners Announced
- People's Choice Award: Downtown, East End, Kanawha City, South Hills/Bridge Road, West Side
- Best in Show
- Contest is FREE of charge.
- Registration closes on November 22. If you are not registered by that date, you will not be eligible for the People's Choice or Best in Show Awards.
- Each Registered participant will receive a sign to place in their window with the QR code for public voting (8.5"x11" - sign size)
- Displays must be completed by the end of the day on November 24.
- Lights, movement and unusual materials are encouraged.
