Name: Downtown Streetfest - August 2019
Date: August 10, 2019
Time: 5:30 PM - 9:00 PM EDT
Event Description:

Streetfest is going to the dogs!

Are you a dog owner? Dog lover? If so, Downtown Charleston’s Streetfest on August 10 isn’t to be missed! Bring your pup and sign up for a dog race or enter one of our fun contests – dog costumes, silly dog tricks, ugliest dog competition (faces only a parent could love), largest and smallest dogs, and an owner-dog lookalike competition.

We’ll also have dog pools for wading, and local vets will be on hand with helpful info. You can visit with Yeager Airport’s wildlife dog Hercules and have a drawing done of your dog by a local artist. We’ll have the Gaming Truck onsite again thanks to Kanawha County Public Library, and West Virginia American Water Co. will have their misting tent set up to cool everyone off. DJ's from Rock 105 and The Mix 100.9 will be providing music for the evening, and we’ll have lots of other fun activities for the whole family too. Stay tuned!

It’s FREE, fun, and family-friendly.

Presented by City National Bank (WV-OH-KY-VA) and supported by Suddenlink by Altice, Brewer & Company, Bailey & Glasser, Hendrickson & Long, Mountain State Beverage, Capitol Beverage Co., Spriggs Distributing, Rock 105/The MIX, Tony The Tailor, Taylor Books, The Manahan Group, Buzz, Rock City Cake Co., B. Belle Boutique, Sam's Uptown Cafe, Staples, Adelphia Sports Bar & Grille, Kanawha County Public Library, and City of Charleston.

Capitol Street will close from 2:00 – 10:00 pm on August 10.
