Tired of getting home late, hungry and settling on takeout to feed you and your family?
Live Well Charlie West, a program of the Charleston Area Alliance, is here to help while simultaneously building team relationships at your workplace.
Live Well Charlie West will host its next Corporate Cooking Cook-Off on July 31 from 5:30-8:30 p.m.
The Corporate Cook-off aims to demonstrate how to make a quick, healthy meal using seasonal produce. All produce will be supplied by the SAGE microfarms, located on Charleston's West Side.
Each team will be provided five mystery ingredients to create the meal. Teams will have access to a pantry filled with spices, condiments, oils and other ingredients commonly used in cooking.
Teams will prepare their meals in 60 minutes and present them to a panel of judges who will critique the meal. Prizes and bragging rights will be granted to the top team.
The cost to attend and cheer on your favorite team is $15. Food (cooked elsewhere) and beverages will be provided.
