DESCRIPTION:The Charleston Area Alliance will honor the best and the brightest in the Kanawha Valley at its annual We Love Our Community Awards at 4:00 p.m. Tuesday\, March 20 in the Krupa Annex (4th floor) of Charleston Catholic High School. \n\n\n\nSponsored by Spilman Thomas & Battle\, the awards program recognizes 13 individuals\, organizations or programs that have devoted a significant amount of time\, energy or resources to making a positive impact on the community. \n\n\n\n"The We Love Our Community Awards recognizes the people and organizations who are making significant contributions to the community through their time\, actions\, talents and dedication\," said Susie Salisbury\, the Alliance's vice president of community development. "The honorees serve as role models for service and continually strive to make the Kanawha Valley a better place." \n\n\n\nAward recipients range widely\, from outstanding preservation and development projects\, to groundbreaking community celebrations and those making a positive impact on the quality of life of the community.\n\n\n\nUnique to the We Love Our Community Awards program is a featured performance by a previous award winner.
