DESCRIPTION:Generation Charleston Candidate Meet & Greet\n\nClay Center for the Arts & Sciences\n\nThursday\, Oct. 2\n\n5:30-7:30 p.m.\n\n\n\n\n\nGeneration Charleston is hosting a Candidate Meet and Greet for all House\, Senate\, and Congressional candidates representing the Charleston/Kanawha County area.\n\n\n\nThis event will provide members of Generation Charleston and the general public with the opportunity to meet and build relationships with local legislative candidates\, in anticipation of the upcoming election.\n\n\n\n"We want to help educate voters in the best way possible when they head out to vote" said Abby Sobonya\, co- chair of Generation Charleston's Policy Committee.\n\n\n\n"A vote is how you can let your voice be heard and\, as young West Virginians\, we have a responsibility to vote and let our legislators know we matter. This Meet and Greet is an outstanding opportunity to learn more about the candidates first hand and make an informed decision on election day."\n\n\n\nThe 2014 Candidate Meet and Greet will begin at 5:30 p.m. at the Clay Center for Arts and Sciences.\n\n\n\nThe event is FREE to attend\, but RSVP is required.
