DESCRIPTION:Elevations Professional Women's Network Luncheon: Leadership and the Importance of Mentorship  \n\nThursday\, June 9\n\n11:30 am to 1:00 pm\n\nMarriott Charleston Town Center \n\n\n\nThe Charleston Area Alliance presents the Elevations Professional Women's Network Luncheon: "Leadership and the Importance of Mentorship\," a discussion with West Virginia's first female Brigadier General: Paige P. Hunter.  \n\nThe event opens at 11:30 a.m. with informal networking\, followed by a seated luncheon\, keynote and Q&A session. Elevations' events are the perfect opportunity to network with the region's top female leaders in a variety of industries and forge meaningful partnerships to move your organization and our community forward. \n\n\n\nBrigadier General Paige P. Hunter is the Chief of the Joint Staff for the West Virginia National Guard\, and has served in that position since September 2015. Her military career started in 1983 as a commissioned Second Lieutenant officer following her graduation from the Academy of Military Science. Prior to her current role\, Brigadier General Hunter served as the Human Resource Officer and the Director of Military Support to Civil Authorities. \n\n\n\nBrigadier General Hunter has a bachelor's degree in science education and a master's degree in communication. She served in Desert Shield and Desert Storm. \n\nReservations for this special event are $50 Alliance members/$60 future members until June 7 at 11:30 a.m. Prices increase to $60 Alliance members/$70 future members after that date.\n\n\n\nThe Elevations Professional Women?s Network is presented by the Charleston Area Alliance with sponsorship support from DOW Chemical Company.\n\n\n\nInvoicing available for groups of 10 or more.  No refunds issued within 48 hours of the event.
