DESCRIPTION:Head down to the first block of Capitol Street for the Downtown Streetfest block party on Saturday\, September 7. Dueling Pianos will be playing all your favorite music.\n\n   \n\nThe event coincides with the Kanawha River Navy's popular Funeral Parade with Hershel "Woody" Williams as Marshall\, which will kick off at 5:00 p.m. at Davis Park. The parade will travel south on Capitol Street and end at Streetfest for the costume awards presentation by Woody Williams. After the awards presentation\, there will be an an auction to benefit the Gold Star Families Memorial at the Capitol conducted by Myers Jackson and Woody Williams from 5:45 - 6:00 p.m. Just prior to the band starting\, Woody will lead everyone in the Pledge of Allegiance and say a couple short words.\n\n\n\nMeet up with friends and family between 5:30 and 9 p.m. for the Funeral Parade\, auction\, live music\, food and drinks\, kids' activities\, pop-ups\, a fun activity from Kanawha County Public Library\, corn hole\, giant Jenga and chess\, and much more.
