DESCRIPTION:Kick off the summer events schedule with Downtown Streetfest Saturday\, May 5 along Capitol Street between Lee and Quarrier Streets in downtown Charleston. Cinco de Mayo\, Kentucky Derby\, and Adelphia's seventh anniversary celebration will all be taking place from 5:00   9:00 pm. \n\n\n\nThe fun begins with Kentucky Derby Hat Contest at 5:30 pm\, the Kentucky Derby live at 6:00 pm and then enjoy the tunes of Reggae band The Flex Crew from Columbus\, Ohio\, from 6:30   9:00 pm.\n\n\n\nMeet up with friends and family for live music\, food and drinks\, kid's activities\, and much more. Grab a bite to eat at your favorite downtown establishments and listen to some live music.\n\n\n\nTitle sponsor is City National Bank with supporting sponsors from Hendrickson & Long\, Brewer & Company\, Spriggs Distributing Company and Bud Light\, GAI Consultants\, AARP\, Rock 105/The Mix\, Tony The Tailor\, Kanawha County Public Library and City of Charleston.\n\n\n\nDowntown Streetfest block parties are also scheduled for Saturday\, August 18 and Saturday\, Sept. 15.
